NEW YORK(AP) —Curtis Granderson(notes) drove in three runs with a pair of doubles, Brett Gardner(notes) hit a run-scoring triple and scored three times, and the New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3 on Friday to match a season high with their seventh straight victory.
Mark Teixeira(notes) had an RBI double for the AL East leaders, who chased Brandon Morrow(notes) (10-7) after three innings, ending his five-game winning streak.

Athletics 8, Angels 0=
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Gio Gonzalez(notes) pitched six innings to win a season-best third straight start, Kevin Kouzmanoff(notes) hit a two-run homer and Oakland snapped a four-game skid.
Gonzalez (13-8) has a 1.04 ERA over his last four starts and improved to 7-3 at home this season with a 2.59 ERA. The left-hander allowed four hits, struck out six and walked three.
Coco Crisp(notes), Rajai Davis(notes) and Gabe Gross(notes) all hit RBI singles and Jack Cust(notes) drew a bases-loaded walk from Angels starter Scott Kazmir(notes) (8-13) in the first to put the A’s ahead.
Kazmir struggled from the start and allowed a season-high six walks in 5 2-3 innings. He lost his third straight start, fourth consecutive decision and eighth in nine decisions.
Twins 4, Rangers 3=
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Denard Span(notes) delivered the go-ahead single in the seventh inning and emergency starter Matt Fox pitched 5 2-3 innings in his major league debut for Minnesota.

SEATTLE (AP) - Luke French(notes) held Cleveland hitless through 6 1-3 innings and combined with Seattle’s bullpen to throw a three-hitter.
French (4-4), nursing his one-run lead through most of his seven innings, gave up a single with one out in the seventh to Shelley Duncan(notes) to end his no-hit bid.
He threw 99 pitches in seven innings, walking three and striking out four.
Brandon League(notes) worked a routine eighth and David Aardsma(notes) threw the ninth for his 27th save in 32 opportunities.
Fausto Carmona(notes) (11-14) allowed four hits and one run, walking five and striking out six in his third complete game this season.
Tigers 9, Royals 5, 11 innings=
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Will Rhymes(notes) hit a two-run triple in a four-run 11th inning to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 9-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Friday night.
Rhymes’ triple to right-center field off Jesse Chavez(notes) (2-3), the sixth Royals pitcher, scored Alex Avila(notes), who Buccaneers #99 jersey
had singled, and Casper Wells(notes), who reached on a Josh Fields(notes) error. After Johnny Damon(notes) walked, Ryan Raburn(notes) singled to right to score Rhymes. Austin Jackson’s(notes) suicide squeeze bunt scored Damon with the final run.
Ryan Perry(notes) (3-5) picked up the victory with two perfect innings.
