Turkoglu is actively seeking a release, and expects his lawyer to sort it all out with GM Bryan Colangelo and the Raptors' brass.Turkoglu was brought in by Colangelo last summer after prying him away from the Blazers, who were also seeking his services. But he really never added anything to the Raptors outside of frustration.Fans will be glad to see Turkoglu hitting the road, and his contract surely won't be missed (53 million over 5 years).Ridding themselves of Turkoglu's contract will add a few dollars to use this off-season, though they likely won't be spent on Chris Bosh.Even if Bosh is signed, it will likely be a sign and trade scenario where he is dealt to either Chicago or New York.Either way, it's good riddance to both.
